I have been messing around with snacks ALOT recently trying to find something that’s a little different.
While I have been doing that I have also been reading about gut health with fibre, prebiotics and probiotics being the main focus.
The obvious choice for my snack with gut health in mind HAD to be a prebiotic yogurt, there are many on the market and you certainly won’t struggle to find one in your local supermarkets ( don’t ever go for low fat yogurts at the supermarket as the fat is simply replaced by sugar ).
So, for my snack I looked for antioxidants, fibre, protein and a helluva good taste too so here’s how I put this delight together!
150ml of natural yogurt
A handful of blueberries
Half an orange/tangerine/clementine
After mixing all of this together I grated over the top some 85% cacao dark chocolate.
